SUMI-E WORKSHOP -
When: Friday, Saturday and Sunday June 25, 26, 27, 2010
Due to popular demand the workshop has been reopened for more participants.
Time: Friday 9:30 am - 4:00 pm, Saturday 9:30 - 4 pm, Sunday 10:00 am - 4:00 pm.
Where: Town of Mamakating Park Drama Building, Bloomingburg, NY
What: Learn the ancient ways of Asian brush painting with ink and watercolor.Practice how to hand grind ink, mix colors and load brushes for spontaneous, powerful contemporary sumi-e paintings.
How: A workshop limited to no more than twenty students. Please register in advance to secure your space.
Fee: $200 for the three day workshop. One day is $80.00. Tea and light refreshments will be served all day in the workshop conference room. Please bring a picnic lunch.
Accomodations: Local campsite, inns and hotels are nearby.
Materials list available: Rosenthal's Sumi-e Workbook available for sale at workshop $25.00. Contact in advance for materials list.
Advance deposit of $50 due by May 4, 2010.
Balance due on first day of workshop. If only taking one or two days then entire fee is due by May 4, 2009 to secure your place. Fee can be paid in advance by check only. No credit or debit cards (sorry). Cash or check accepted in class only.
