A new fall exhibit at the
Wurtsboro Art Alliance Gallery, 73 Sullivan Street, Wurtsboro NY begins on August 24, 2008 with an opening reception from noon - 4 pm. Be sure to stop by and see the new Canal Memorial Garden and fountain next to the gallery. I will post a picture soon.
Squirrel Nest Studio summer workshops have ended early to accomodate work on a new roof at the studio. Sumi-e Asian Brush Painting Classes will resume on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, September 8th. 1 - 4 pm (unless I am on Jury Duty).

Dahlia and 265 Cottage Street were part of a benefit for the Middletown Garden Lover's Club with the Wallkill River Art School. The exhibition had a silent auction with the paintings at Orange County Community College gallery. Show dates July 25 through August 17, 2008. During the Hidden Gardens Tour presented by the Garden Lovers Club of Middletown, NY, on June 28, 2008, artists of the Wallkill River School painted scenes in the Tour gardens which are located in Middletown, Howells, and the Towns of Deerpark and Greenville, including the gardens on the campus of Orange County Community College.
